Financial Representative Intern
Financial Representative interns with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network provide expert guidance and innovative solutions to help ensure that clients’ needs are met. The Northwestern Mutual Financial Network is the exclusive sales and distribution arm of Northwestern Mutual and its subsidiaries and affiliates. The July 2009 issue of Sales & Marketing Management Magazine selected our Financial Representatives as the best sales force in America, co-winner with Cisco systems. Job Description
The responsibilities of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network intern mirror those of a career financial representative:
• Defining target markets
• Finding and pursuing clients
• Nurturing client relationships
• Achieving sales
They offer exclusive access to insurance products from a top-rated company, Northwestern Mutual, and an array of quality financial products and services. The Network assists Representative interns with many steps toward success, including extensive training from certified trainers in sales and financial products, building a client base and access to the Network’s knowledgeable financial specialists. As full-time college students, interns in The Network work 15 to 20 hours per week developing networking and business relationship skills.

Preferred Qualifications
